I created a logo for my friend Giò and his new business.

From the very beginning, he asked me for something that would truly represent him 100%—a graphic mark that could speak about who he is, his personality and his story, while also clearly reflecting the world of hospitality and dining.

To start the creative process, I focused on the most spontaneous and intuitive phase: I took a blank sheet of paper and a pencil and began sketching directly at the bar. I observed the environment, listened to Giò’s stories, and tried to capture the subtle details that only someone who lives that place every day can convey. From those first sketches, the concept for the logo emerged, built around the connection between his personality and the authentic soul of the tavern.

His place is called “Taverna All’’Indicatore”, a name strongly connected to the local area and its identity. For this reason, Giò wanted the logo to include elements that could evoke the location, the atmosphere, and everything that makes his tavern unique.
